Sometimes I think I really made a mistake joining my sorority. They seem to have this mindset that because we're "sisters" people don't deserve privacy. Each time I've had unintended people find out information I was trying to keep private it was because of sorority sisters. And the worst part is these woman get their information about me from some random person and then decide to share with my entire college chapter without even speaking to me to 1. Make sure I'm okay with sharing the information or 2. Making sure the information they got was accurate. I just can't believe these grown ass women think things like this are okay
While the Black community (me not being an exception in all fairness) is discontent with the fact that people of color got few to none nominations for the Oscars 2016, Chris Rock, this year’s host, called out the Academy’s lack of diversity on his Twitter. Caption to the new promo of the ceremony, that Rock posted, says “The #Oscars. The White BET Awards.” I’ve got a feeling this year’s Oscars might turn out to be fun, because this man has definitely a lot to say about ‘all-white’ nominees. Hopefully that’ll teach the Academy a lesson and next year we will be observing diversity among people nominated for the award.
I love Chris Rock and he will call out the lack of diversity. But they ALWAYS Do this. Have the host point out how white this years awards were and we all laugh and giggle uncomfortably and they do it again the very next year.
my favorite part of interviews with the star wars cast is that john boyega always seems so so so excited to talk about anything and harrison ford always seems like someone just woke him up from a nap and he’s mad about it
If Tina Fey can keep making painfully unfunny movies for lonely white women in their late 30s, I’m not going to sweat Marlon Wayans for making painfully unfunny parody movies with black stereotypes.
